Rebecca’s Bath Revamp Ideas: Paint!

One of the best ways to revamp your bathroom look (also to raise market value, if you’re thinking of selling) is to make those walls look good. Not only does it have to be visually pleasing, it must stand up to heat, moisture and frequent cleaning. Here’s Rebecca’s first tip for rehabilitating those tired walls. We’ve already covered Glass Blocking and Ceramic Tiling last time. Now its good ole fashioned paint!

Paint doesn’t break bank and is the easiest to makeover. Pick a hue, settle on a finish and boom! Gloss and semigloss finishes work best in bathrooms because they repel water and clean easily. Glossier paints exaggerate all the lumps and bumps on a wall, however, so they have to be applied to a flat, smooth surface. More importantly, its easier to do yourself. Plus points if you’re the artsy type and you can even make your bathroom wall, your canvas. Here’s some inspiration!
